P4031 - Organic Guatemalan Coatan OCIA 1lb

(Trade Fair, organic OCIA certified, and shade grown) These small Co-op farms support environmental and social projects to improve their living conditions at the farm level. This coffee is wet processed and patio died. It has an excellent full body with a slight fruity aroma. This coffee is grown in the highest area of guatemala known as "Land of the Acients". The highest grade of Guatemala coffee is Strictly Hard Bean (SHB). The regionally designated coffees (Antigua, Atitlan, etc) are tasted and approved as meeting flavor profile criteria established for these regions by ANACAFE, the Guatemalan coffee association. Those coffees that do not meet regional flavor profile criteria are only allowed to be sold as Strictly Hard Bean without regional designation .
