Mocha Java is one of the oldest blends, making it a classic in the coffee world. While Americans associate mocha with chocolate, the name refers to Yemen Mocha. This is spicy, intensely fruity blend has hints of bittersweet chocolate and berries. Due to the heavy percentage of naturally processed coffee in this blend, it has a high level of sweetness and fruitiness.
Blend notes: We use our Organic Sumatran coffee as a base; this medium roast is bold in flavor, and has the lightly spiced, earthy characteristics of most Indonesian coffees. Ethiopian coffee is added to brighten the blend, provide a sweet citrus element and a higher level of acidity and flavor.
Cupping notes: fruity, earthy, sweet, finishing with a nutty, cacao flavor
